Apex Engineering

APEX Engineering, Inc. was founded in 1993 by Richard Anderson and Daniel Peterson. The name APEX was started with the concept: Anderson Peterson Engineering Services, but they settled on APEX, jokingly referring to the "X" as for eXtraordinaires. Over the years, APEX has provided the Chippewa Valley and the Midwest with numerous examples of exemplary designs and energy-efficient building systems. Today, the company is still owned by Dan Peterson and Justin Musser, who became an owner in 2018. Justin is currently the President of the company.

As a consulting engineering firm, APEX specializes in Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Plumbing, and Electrical engineering and design. Our staff consists of engineers, engineering technicians, designers, and technical support personnel, with multiple professionals licensed for engineering/design work in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Although we prefer to provide local communities with design services, we have worked with existing clients in several neighboring states.

Our firm provides a complete range of mechanical and electrical engineering services, including Site Investigation, Existing System Analysis, Preliminary Design Concepts and Planning, Budgeting and Construction Cost Estimates, System Design and Specifications, Construction Administration, Construction Observation, and As-Built/Record Drawings. We work closely with state and local codes, architects, local contractors, commissioning agents, and Focus On Energy for energy analysis and rebates.

APEX Engineering's mission is to provide innovative and comprehensive designs for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems that are sustainable, energy-efficient, and budget-friendly. Our vision is to serve building owners in Western Wisconsin and the Midwest with code-compliant systems that meet their needs at a reasonable cost.
