Our History
Our story began in 1950 when George Shrode and his wife Ruth started a plumbing business called George Shrode Plumbing Company, based in Orlando, Florida. Over the years, the business grew and prospered, expanding to cover all of central Florida. In the 1980s, Norman Shrode, the second generation Shrode plumber, took over the business and continued to build on the legacy of his father. Today, Certified Plumbing Co., LLC remains a family-owned business, committed to providing exceptional service to our customers.

Racist Allegations
One reviewer, Herminio Gomez, alleged that Certified Plumbing is racist towards minorities, including employees and customers.
Poor Work Quality and Unprofessionalism
Multiple reviewers have reported poor work quality and unprofessionalism from Certified Plumbing. Ian Raden stated that they had to redo the work done by Certified Plumbing, as it was shoddy and didn't deliver working plumbing. Shane Arojado echoed similar sentiments, stating that they had to hire separate plumbing crews to fix the mistakes made by Certified Plumbing.
Financial Consequences
The reviewers reported significant financial losses due to Certified Plumbing's mistakes. Shane Arojado mentioned that the delays and mistakes costed them a tremendous amount of time, labor, and additional materials. Ian Raden was asked to pay the full amount despite not getting the desired results.
