At Connelly-Waldinger, we take pride in our rich history, dating back to 1949 when John F. Connelly Plumbing and Heating Company was founded in Springfield, Missouri. The company began as a small family-operated business, serving the local community with quality plumbing and heating services. Over the years, the company grew and expanded its services to include HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, and mechanical contracting. In 2021, Connelly Plumbing, Heating & Air joined forces with The Waldinger Corporation, a family-owned company with a history dating back to 1906, to create Connelly-Waldinger.
Our History
Connelly Plumbing and Heating Company was founded by John F. Connelly, a former city plumbing inspector, and his wife, Katherine. The company started small, with John Edwards as a plumbing apprentice, eventually becoming a partial owner of the company. In 1969, the Connellys sold the company to John, who retained the Connelly name. John's wife, Rosellen, joined the business as vice president and secretary. The company relocated to West College Street in 1992 and moved to its current location in 2003.
The Connelly family has been a mainstay in the Springfield community for generations, with four generations of the Connelly family working together. The company has built a reputation for quality workmanship, customer service, and community involvement. Danny Connelly, the current president and CEO, has led the company since 1995, with his three children, Matt, Kayley, and Brett, joining the business in different capacities.
