Job #1: Plumber was respectful and explained the job in great detail. He stuck to the quote exactly. I will use Paluska Plumbing in the future.
Job #2: The guys did a nice job in short order. They stuck to the quote while fixing all the items on my list. They even cleaned up after themselves.
Quote for Job #3: Today's visit was merely to get quotes on several new water heater options. Each option was explained in detail, so I can make an informed decision once I receive the quotes.
Job #3: I had a Bradford White Hydrojet 40 gal water heater installed. The price was high, but I feel Bradford White is the best. The plumbers at Paluska Plumbing are good natured guys. No problems. Left my basement nice and clean.

The service was fine. However, I was very disappointed when your representative asked me to pay a $75 visit fee. I wish I had known this charging policy earlier when we were setting up the appointment. For your information, it is not the amount that bothers me, it is the fact that it was mentioned at the end of the visit. It was unexpected! Such “gotchas” do not speak well for your company. I would have paid the amount willingly had I known about it. Now I feel I was taken advantage of.

Update - January 16, 2025
Subsequent to my earlier feedback, Paluska Plumbing contacted me and apologized for not having informed me earlier about the charge for a prospective visit. They acknowledged the miscommunication that happened and graciously refunded my payment. This action clearly demonstrated their wish to be fair to their customers and do the right thing! I appreciate it and applaud them for it. It is rare to see it these days when so many contractors do things that make homeowners/customers regret hiring them. I have left my original remarks untouched so that readers can see how Paluska Plumbing handled my feedback responsibly. Now, instead of a dissatisfied customer in me, they have one who thinks highly of them! I know I would love doing business with them! And I know you will too.

Jorge Cortex did fantastic work for me today. He started the service today by doing his best to not charge me for unnecessary services.

Then answered my barrage of questions about the service he was providing. I am not personally knowledgeable when it comes to plumbing, but Jorge was incredibly kind and respectful. He helped me understand more about my ground water level, why my sump pump runs as often as it did, and he explained the process he used to remedy my situation.

He did that all while obviously taking care in his work. Double checking for any leaks that may have shown up, and maintaining professional, polite conversation.

He also took the time to answer a couple of unrelated questions I had of plumbing things in the house, maintenance of my water heater and even mismatched fittings I had for my fish tank.

Highly recommend. I had Jake and George to my house on separate occasions and they were both very friendly and knowledgeable. It's rare to find a company full of employees that actually care about helping their customers and take pride in their work. I'll never use anyone else!

My appointment was for an 8-9am arrival. Jorge and Michael were waiting outside at 7:55. That's never happened. Then, they were in and out in less time than quoted, and did a great job installing our new water softener system. I will definitely be contacting them for future plumbing issues.

The two young men that were here were polite and professional. The job took longer than expected but they made sure it was done right and explained what was done. I was also pleased with the what was charged and will definitely use this company again if needed.I also appreciated that they were able to come on short notice.

Excellent service! We had what we thought might be an urgent issue with our water heater. Fortunately for us, there had been a cancelation on their end, and they were able to send someone over right away. The technician was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely call them again!

They did a great job. He was able to remove a hose from the spicket that had been on there for years without hurting the spicket. Very professional and helpful.

The plumber who came out before was either completely incompetent or tried to scam me. He quoted me a cost of $2600 to repair a leaky shower. David Young came out, finished the job in about 20 minutes, and charged me $240. Excellent work!

David came out and did an analysis of the hot water heater issues and discussed what needs to be done. The part needed to correct the problem is on back order No charge for today. Rescheduled bases on when part will arrive. Great communications and customer service.

Explaining the different materials used several decades ago and the advantages disadvantages of these materials.

What seemed to be an absolute major complex job. Was throughly explained and extraordinarily quoted ‘minus ($4500)’ extraordinary. Previous salesman had stated the necessary job was going to be a major, and complex endeavor. Amounting to nearly $5,000 - as it turns out, over time the industry has evolved from flexible coper tubing to rigid tubing. So the “damage” to the tube is simply the way old- timers articulated the tube to avoid installing fittings…. Since the older tubing presented no operational issues, It does not need to be reworked.

This highlights the level of experience, knowledge, and honesty that the plumbers carrying the “Paluska Plumbing” badge offer!!!
