McKeever Electric and Plumbing is a family-owned and operated business that has been providing commercial electrical and plumbing services to the Richmond, Virginia area since 1978. Founded by Patrick McKeever as McKeever Home Improvement Company, the business was incorporated as McKeever Company in 1981. From its humble beginnings, the company has grown to become a trusted name in commercial electric, plumbing, and gas systems.

Patrick's wife, Joan, joined the company in 1992, taking care of accounting functions such as invoicing. Both Patrick and Joan remain involved with the company to this day. Their son, Jim, began working for the company during summers at an early age, learning about the business and helping out with various tasks. Jim started working for the company on a full-time basis in 1992 and is now the company's president.
