Who We Are

Erik Birkenes, the owner and senior technician of One Way Plumbing, spent 8 years at the start of his career as a baker before transitioning into warehouse and production management in the high-tech sector. For the last 15 years, he has been honing his skills as a plumber in Sonoma County. Erik takes pride in his ability to excel in both construction and service plumbing, a skill set that makes him uniquely equipped to handle any plumbing job. He is an artist in everything he does, making sure that plumbing jobs are both done excellently and are aesthetically pleasing in their finished state.

Erik's wife, Jennifer, is the CFO of One Way Plumbing. She is in charge of all accounts receivable, accounts payable, and all admin responsibilities. She has successfully raised and homeschooled their 4 children.

Erik's oldest son, Joseph, is a natural when it comes to mechanical abilities. He began assisting his father with plumbing jobs at a young age and has since honed his skills with hands-on experience. He has served overseas with a nondenominational missions organization and has worked as a white water river rafting guide.

Erika, Erik's daughter, is both creative and good at organization. She has a sharp mind for keeping things running smoothly, which made her perfect as Erik's scheduler when she worked for the family business in 2013 and '14. She is now pursuing degrees in both art and business and is in charge of maintaining One Way Plumbing's social media and website design.
