History

Founded by Ed Pruitt Sr. in 1971, E.L. Pruitt Co. started as a successful sheet metal and roofing company for residential and commercial businesses. Over the years, the company has expanded its services to include engineering, design-build, installation, and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, process piping systems, sheet metal fabrication, architectural sheet metal, and refrigeration services. The company has undergone significant growth and expansion, transitioning from a 50/50 partnership between Ed Sr. and his sons, John and Ed Jr., to a sole ownership under John in 1997.
