Company History

Our company was formed in 1993 with the merger of Nelson Excavating and Stark Plumbing, two well-established companies with a combined experience of over ninety years in the construction industry. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our services to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Today, we are a leading construction company with a strong presence in the regional market.

Our Team

Our leadership team includes Jeff Read, President; Todd Elliott, Vice President of Plumbing; Steve Tyranski, Vice President of Excavation and Site; and Daniel Swope, General Manager of Specialty Services. Services

We offer a wide range of services to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Our plumbing services include all aspects of commercial and industrial plumbing, from major hospital projects and research facilities to commercial developments and educational facilities. Our site work division has the capability to install all sizes of storm, sanitary, water, and natural gas systems, and we also possess the unique capability to install sheet piling and wood lagging to shore for large systems and structure installation measuring fifty feet in depth.

Our excavation division utilizes over 300 pieces of heavy earthmoving equipment, enabling us to perform a variety of site development projects. We also offer specialty services, including pre-fabrication, BIM design assist, and trucking, to ensure that every project is completed efficiently and effectively.
